Separation Anxiety 

We're all too aware of how challenging it can be when the fear of your dog howling, scratching at the door, incessantly barking, making a mess, or damaging your cherished possessions keeps you from leaving home.

Signs your dog has separation anxiety 

When left alone, your dog may display one or more of the following signs of separation anxiety:

 

- Drooling and panting

- Pacing and displaying restless behavior

- Barking and vocalizing

- Inability to eat in your absence

- Withdrawing or seeking solitude

- Soiling indoors

- Scratching or engaging in destructive behavior

- Self-harming through excessive licking, chewing, or hair plucking

 

This list isn’t comprehensive, but it provides an overview of what to watch for.
